As the Director of HR for Retail, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing human resources strategies to support our business objectives. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive work environment and managing employee relations across our retail network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR leader.
  • Experience in the retail industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Experience in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus. (SHRM or HRCI)

Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals. Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team in delivering effective human resources services
  • Employee Relations: Develop retention strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and reduce turnover. Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations matters. Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with compensation and benefits leader to ensure competitiveness in the market. Periodically review and update the organization's compensation structure.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management processes to drive employee productivity and development. Provide guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, and improvement plans.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Working with SKIMS corporate, to execute initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. Collaborate with leadership to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.
  • Compliance and Legal Affairs: Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance. Address legal matters related to HR and employee relations.
