About The Position

The HR Coordinator supports key HR functions from onboarding and payroll updates to recruiting, benefits administration, and employee events. You’ll keep our records accurate, our processes running smoothly, and our employees informed and supported. Requirements

  • 2+ years of human resources experience required.
  • Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Supports organizational compliance and risk management by maintaining accurate records, monitoring performance evaluations, reconciling benefits, and ensuring accurate payroll changes.
  • Enhance talent acquisition and workforce quality through thoughtful job postings, careful application reviews, and coordinated hiring steps.
  • Support employee confidence and engagement by providing reliable answers to HR questions, clear communication about benefits, and assistance with employee events.
  • Help shape the culture new employees experience from their first day by creating a welcoming, organized, and people‑focused environment that reflects what it means to be part of MCCU.
  • Reinforce organizational standards by ensuring employees understand expectations, policies, and values from the beginning, creating consistency across departments.
  • Ensure cultural alignment across departments by maintaining accurate job descriptions, guiding managers, and supporting employee relations.
