AHF Products has a great career opportunity for an HR Coordinator at our West Plains, MO Plant. As an HR Coordinator, you will support administrative tasks and services to assist effective and efficient operations of HR department including recruiting, onboarding, learning management system, performance management and general administration. Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently to meet due dates.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated Word & Excel skills necessary to efficiently analyze and manipulate data.
  • Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, analysis, and organization.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent; two to four years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in Human Resources or applicable experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work the occasional off shift to support 24-hour manufacturing operations.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening.
  • Positive and Verifiable Work History.
  • Must follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as needed.
  • Occasionally push, pull, carry and lift 20-50 lbs.
  • Frequently walking, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements.
  • Frequently talk, hear, read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

  • Posting new jobs to internal and external job boards.
  • Reviewing incoming applications and actioning accordingly.
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews using UKGPro, our ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Liaising with internal hiring managers to ensure our processes are clear and their needs are met.
  • Responding to job inquiries.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, keeping open lines of communication throughout their experience.
  • Accountability for keeping our Applicant Tracking System (UKGPro) organized and up to date.
  • Supporting pre-onboarding preparation and tasks – such as drafting offer letters, background checks, and other logistics.
  • Reviewing current workflows, policies and documents for onboarding to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Update presentation given to new hires on their first day, making sure information is relevant and current.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Ensuring all federal, state and local employment laws are being followed and set up for new hires and on an ongoing basis.
  • Completion of I-9 with new hires.
  • Supporting the administration of the plant Attendance system.
  • Supporting plant engagement initiatives.
  • Maintaining and updating employee information in HRIS.
  • Supporting execution and maintenance of existing people programs and strategies, ensuring compliance and alignment with current business needs.
  • Maintains accurate employment records, both physical and electronic files.
  • Coordinates the offboarding process, including exit interviews, letters, and leave payouts.
  • Participates in special projects and initiatives assigned to the HR ream.
  • Maintains confidentiality, integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Assists with ad-hoc reporting needs.
  • Other assignments as requested by management.
