HR Coordinator - Full Time (M-F, 8:00AM-5:00PM)

About The Position

The HR Coordinator will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of professional staff within the human resources department, undertaking a variety of activities and projects of varying levels of professional complexity and assisting with the completion of important projects that will be assigned.

Requirements

Human Resources, Customer Service, or Administration experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, applicant tracking systems, human capital management systems, learning management systems and other applications/systems as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, is preferred.

Responsibilities

First point-of-contact for greeting in-person guests as well as incoming phone calls to the HR department.
Assists with various aspects of the hiring process such as candidate inquiries and scheduling interviews.
Assists the HR team in uploading/entering employee and candidate documents into the human capital management system (HCMS)
Maintains electronic and hard files for current and terminated employees.
Assists the HR team in reviewing and editing employee job descriptions.
Assists the HR team in evaluating and reviewing I-9 compliance.
Assists the HR team with validating dependent eligibility for benefits plans.
Assists with preparing various HR-related reports
Assists with annual service awards and other employee recognition activities.
Performs duties with a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and ownership.
Reports to and departs from work on time and as scheduled.

Performs other duties as may be assigned.
