Peak Resources is currently seeking a qualified facility Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to join their team at Peak Resources Gastonia. Human Resources is a vital role at Peak facilities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Excellent computer skills experience including internet navigation, Microsoft products
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with an understanding of employee relationships
Ability to quickly establish rapport with others
Solution driven with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a quick paced environment
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or equivalent
Previous payroll / HR experience
Experience with HRIS / HCM
Experience in long term care or healthcare industry

Responsibilities

Performs various administrative services to support human resources functions within the facility
Includes recruiting, new employee onboarding and orientation, employee personnel and credential updates, offboarding, employee FMLA/LOA
Performs payroll processes
Leads employee engagement activities
Connects with the Corporate HR team to assist on various matters, such as unemployment and workers compensation claims
