The Human Resources Coordinator is a hands-on representative of the Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all basic HR functions and processes. With diverse and substantive job responsibilities, the Human Resources Coordinator works with associates, contract workers, students, leaders, and the public, making this a key position within the organization. The HRC will also provide primary administrative support for areas within the Human Resources Department, and cross train with others to ensure consistency and continuity of all functions and services. The HRC will be the primary first contact for anyone entering or contacting the HR Department, and will then provide assistance to answer the question/concern or route it to the appropriate party to handle. The HRC is responsible for providing proactive and enthusiastic support for the HR VP, HR Director, HR BP, HR Generalist, HRIS, and other roles within the department. The HRC will independently administer functions and processes with high reliability. The HRC will use a broad range of HR knowledge to assist customers with questions and problem solving. The HRC will actively contribute to the department-wde initiatives and priorities, including ongoing tasks as well as project support. This support will include effectively managing multiple calendars, contacts, and tasks on a daily basis. The HRC will also perform several administrative tasks, including organization-wide certification audits to ensure we are in compliance, tracking and auditing of organization-wide events such as service awards, and other research and analysis related to HR areas as needed. The HRC will be responsible for upholding confidentiality in all aspects. The HRC will expertly navigate electronic systems and records, as well as paper records, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and comprehensive data support.
