About The Position

We are looking for HR Coordinator I to join our team. The Human Resources (“HR”) Coordinator I is responsible for providing HR services to internal and external clients including but not limited to on-boarding, termination, records management, employee life cycle transactions, payroll, and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, human resources, organizational development or related field or HR SPHR/PHR certifications and/or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to retain a good knowledge of tasks performed in the HR functions.
  • Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations.
  • Basic understanding of HR regulations, labor laws, and proper documentation.
  • Present a professional image and demeanor in dealing with clients, interdepartmental and external representatives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.
  • Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to take initiate and prioritize tasks; good time management, problem prevention, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Fluent bilingual in Korean and English required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and servicing human resources management programs in areas aforementioned in the summary.
  • Support client expectation by effectively communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
  • Assist in the process of timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Support all new hires and terminations to properly hire with background references and terminate with proper documentation.
  • Support the department in maintaining accurate HR administration system data for proper reporting, tracking, and documentation.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirement.
