About The Position

The HRCM Compliance Support Specialist acts as a member of Jackson Health System(JHS) Human Resources Compliance Team operating as point of contact for onboarding services for non JHS personnel. Assists in file audits and responds to customer questions and inquiries related to compliance issues. Provides administrative support to the department. This will have significant role in personnel administration and employee relations. This acts in a confidential capacity to assist or aid the Director, Associate Director, or Manager in the department.

Requirements

  • Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
  • Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
  • Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Process all onboarding services requests from non JHS personnel.
  • Responsible for invoicing and payments processing for accurate accounting records.
  • Assist in file audits.
  • Monitor and accurately update employee and non employee information and/or data changes into specified software systems and programs.
  • Act as the administrative support for HR Compliance department.
  • Coordinate agency orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Provides service excellence by ensuring timely response to customer issues related to HR compliance.
  • Coordinates file requests with Personnel records.
  • Ability to stay abreast of current HR policies, procedures and organizational changes while communicating with HRCM Compliance management to identify workflow issues and processes.
  • Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
