About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources for activities associated with the human resources department on any recruiting needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
  • Ability to effectively shift back and forth between 2 or more activities or sources of information.
  • Knowledge of use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
  • 1-3 years in human resources, 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities.
  • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively as indicated by the need of the audience.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping track of which temps are coming from which agency.
  • Update temps logs daily with new and termed temps.
  • Confirm temps on site verse what was ordered by shift.
  • Make sure temps have GMP training and track GMP sign off sheets.
  • Create daily temps on site spreadsheet for badge tracker and security.
  • Physically taking temps in the building to proper line and introducing them to the supervisor.
  • Make sure temps have proper badge and training on badge policy.
  • Make sure temps have proper PPE and training on PPE policy.
  • Issue hard hats to temps and make sure proper paperwork is completed and sent to agency.
  • Provide timeclock training for all temps on properly clocking in and out.
  • Correcting time clock issues for temps as needed
  • Approving time sheets for temps for agencies to pay.
  • Gathers background check for payrolling and temps assigned as full time for file.
  • Conducts phone interviews for new PE’s in production.
  • Prepare and facilitate new hire orientation and paperwork, keep packets updated.
  • Create Prox/ID Cards for new hires/PE’s and assign correct access in control system
  • Provide all new hire Alchemy training during orientation.
  • Assist employees with Alchemy password resets as needed.
  • Conducts stability interviews on 1st day and exit interviews for all temps.
  • Coaching temps on attendance and performance issues.
  • Validate temps are working after clocking in and not leaving.
  • Assist temps with questions.
  • Protects all proprietary information including, but not limited to memoranda       and other documents. Keeps all employee information confidential and discreet.
  • Assist with training as needed.
  • Assist with Company employee events
  • Other duties as assigned.
