SUMMARY: The HR Business Partner provides HR expertise on people related issues such as Employee & Labor Relations, Coaching & Development, Conflict Management, and Training. JOB FUNCTIONS: Work with management and staff to resolve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and minimize unwanted turnover. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, including union grievances, investigations, etc. Maintains and updates documents in Oracle HRIS. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, collective bargaining requirements and employment/labor laws. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructurings, workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for business units and individual employee coaching needs.
