About The Position

Ergon is seeking a full-time HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources Team. The HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting the development and implementation HR strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives, and partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to provide HR services that support staffing, compensation, employee relations and talent management needs. This role will work closely with the HR Director for organization wide strategic initiatives, work closely with operational leaders for coaching/support within their teams and act as a point of contact for employees in their day-to-day needs.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in HR
  • Strong experience in employee relations: Employee Behavioral Coaching, investigations and handling personnel topics
  • Effective communicator and ability to work collaboratively with others in cross functional teams
  • Experience in talent development processes including recruiting and training/development for employees
  • Project Management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor in HR or related field preferred, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Consults management and employees on employee relations issues, ensuring awareness of and compliance with employment laws: guide performance management, corrective counselling, training and development.
  • Available for employees to seek understanding and help resolve behavioral situations, payroll & benefits topics, policy specific items, and ensuring successful working environment and dynamic within teams
  • Develops and maintains strong partnerships with the operational leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and partner in understanding and resolving employee issues and strengthening their managerial ability
  • Support and/or autonomously drive assigned projects that may be specific to one Ergon company or across several Ergon companies
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to ensure effective associate onboarding and integration. Works towards reducing turnover and enhancing the overall employee experience for new team members with partnership of hiring manager.
  • Comfortable working with data. Ability to analyze data sets and present on trends/proposed solutions via analysis and recommended actions
  • Support training and development strategy and implementation. Working with operational leaders to understand gaps in team member skills sets, technical and soft skills and partnering with them in delivering training to support development
  • Supports compensation best practices in staffing, promotional moves and hiring process to promote consistency to internal benchmarks and ensure competitiveness in hiring vs market wages
  • Works closely with HR leaders in corporate and embedded HR teams to partner, develop and implement HR policies and processes to improve the business and employee experience
