Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence leaders at multiple levels
  • Experience handling employee relations and performance management
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Collaborative approach with a focus on solutions and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or generalist roles
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work onsite in Columbia, SC

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and talent development
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on coaching, feedback, and team effectiveness
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design efforts
  • Lead and support key HR initiatives, including engagement, retention, and culture-building programs
  • Analyze HR data and trends to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, etc.) to deliver HR solutions
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Support change management efforts and drive adoption of new processes or initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to foster an inclusive, high-performance work environment
