Our HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across assigned functions, delivering HR expertise that drives organizational performance, employee engagement, and talent outcomes. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Experience using HRIS systems.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
  • Experience operating in a company scaling through 500–1,000 employees preferred.
  • Exposure to compensation benchmarking and total rewards strategy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into actionable people strategies that support growth, retention, and high performance.
  • Advise senior leaders on org design, team effectiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Participate in business unit leadership meetings as a standing HR representative.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with L&D to design targeted development plans and career pathing frameworks.
  • Support succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations matters; conduct thorough, impartial investigations when required.
  • Coach managers on difficult conversations, performance improvement plans, and team dynamics.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assists with H1B applications, transfers, or renewals.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Manages reward and recognition programs to increase employee engagement and bottom-line results.
  • Provides advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives, such as cultural transformation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on the design and rollout of company-wide HR programs (compensation, benefits, onboarding, etc.).
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
