About The Position

PeaceHealth is seeking a HR Business Partner for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position in Springfield, OR… The HR Business Partner oversees and coordinates the HR needs for amunity, group of business units, or supporting system-wide initiatives. May represent Human Resources onmunity leadership team. Provides HR expertise to senior leaders. Services as a mentor providing guidance to other HR Partner Organization colleagues. Translates their thorough knowledge of healthcare into HR best practices for the clients, focusing on change management, leadership development, succession planning, operational effectiveness and employee relations. Aligns People and Culture solutions with PeaceHealth organizational strategies, key objectives and mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required: Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant discipline is required or abination of education and professional experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Human resources experience, or equivalent leadership experience, including an understanding of a d services organization.
  • Previous experience in a HRBP or equivalent role, strongly oriented towards relationship development.
  • Strong employee and labor relations experience managingplex investigations, grievances and impact bargaining.
  • Knowledge of regulatorypliance, federal and state laws with a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
  • Knowledge of employee & labor relations.
  • Mediation and conflict resolutions skills
  • Investigation skills.
  • Knowledge of organizational and team dynamics and methods to support continued improvement in these areas.
  • Ability to develop and present concise information.
  • Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
  • Understanding of operations within the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to identify, utilize and interpret workforce-related metrics.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office application.
  • Proficient in the use of a major HRIS system.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Preferred Experience: Extensive and progressive development/knowledge ofplex human resources service line support in a COE model. Prior leadership and/or supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Experience: Recent experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Preferred: SHRM Certified Professional, SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Certified Professional Human Resources or Certified Senior Professional Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Engaged and partners with leaders at all levels of the organization on people and culture related initiatives. Develops and implements strategic priorities that support mission, operational and department goals.
  • Builds strong and trusting relationships with leadership. Proactively translate the group's business strategies into HR solutions. Applies analytics and metrics to drive sound rmendations and solutions.
  • Proactively managesplex employee and labor relations issues.
  • Advises leadership in administration of labor contracts. Examines supervisory practices and local policies and procedures forpliance with labor contracts. Participates in negotiating labor contracts and daily engagement with labor union representatives. Response to grievances and request for information; using internal resources as appropriate.
  • Provides expert advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and caregivers on Culture and People programs, policy and procedures, employment/labor laws,munication & conflict resolution, inspiration & engagement, formation & development, change management, diversity/inclusion, ethics & and organizational development and design in alignment with our mission and strategic priorities.
  • In consultation with Culture and People leadership, collaborates for appropriate oues with leadership, Centers of Expertise and the HR Service Center to balance caregiver needs, policies, procedures,pliance with regulatory standards and PeaceHealth Mission, Values, and strategies.
  • May coordinate or lead HRPO project work to include policy review, standardizing processes,petency development, and roll-out of initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
