About The Position

Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner with payroll and HRIS management experience to support our clinical and administrative teams across multiple Maryland locations. This role blends hands‑on HR operations with collaborative, people‑focused partnership across the entire practice. About the Company: Founded in 2012, Precision Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a private practice group of board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who focus on individualized care of their patients. We have 18 locations in the DMV area and meet the orthopedic needs of our patients with prompt appointments and caring staff. Specialized physicians delivering personalized orthopedic care. Our fellowship-trained doctors offer patients top-tier care to ensure they return to optimal health as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist capacity.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR data analysis. (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, organizational development and employment law
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, multi‑site clinical environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of payroll processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate employee data, leave balances, and compliance documentation in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Process bi‑weekly payroll for multi‑site clinical and administrative staff
  • Manage quarterly and year‑end payroll tasks (W‑2s, ACA reporting, audits).
  • Generate payroll, HR, and compliance reports; ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll, timekeeping and reimbursement questions.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, credentialing support, job changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain compliant, up‑to‑date employee records for clinical and non‑clinical roles.
  • Support recruiting activities, including applicant review, interview scheduling, and background checks.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and coordinate required screenings.
  • Assist with employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR compliance.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing needs as the practice expands.
  • Assist with training and development needs.
  • Help implement engagement and recognition programs tailored to a clinical environment.
  • Partner with practice leadership on performance, culture, and operational improvements.
