About The Position

As part of the talented HR team, this HR Business Partner role provides onsite support for our Menomonee Falls teams and partners globally with our Engineering organization. The position works closely with leaders at various levels to deliver HR programs, support talent initiatives, and drive effective people practices. Requirements

  • BA/BS in HR, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP, People Partner, or generalist roles supporting salaried/exempt populations.
  • Demonstrated fluency in performance management, employee relations, compensation fundamentals, and talent development.
  • Proven stakeholder management and influence skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High integrity, discretion, and sound judgment with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, the Talent Management lifecycle and employee retention strategies.
  • Experience interviewing engineering, IT or other technical roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multiple countries or regions (e.g., North America + EMEA/APAC) with awareness of local employment practices.
  • Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Comfortable coaching managers at various levels.
  • Proficiency in Workday
  • PHR or SPHR

Responsibilities

  • Work with both exempt and hourly populations to provide support in various areas
  • Provide on-site support to our Distribution Center teams (assisting with questions surrounding benefits, FMLA, child support, etc.) along with other onsite engagement initiatives.
  • Counsel employees and managers on job related issues, including providing assistance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality; ensure compliant handling of sensitive information.
  • Monitor headcount, attrition, and hiring plans; support quarterly/annual planning cycles
  • Support the Talent Acquisition process by reviewing and interviewing candidates for a variety of engineering positions across the globe.
  • Manage low to moderate complexity ER matters (performance, conduct, attendance, reasonable accommodations) with documentation rigor.
  • Partner with ER/Legal on investigations, restructures, and exits, ensuring global and local compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations.
  • Partner with HR Shared Services and HR COEs on implementation of HR initiatives/services.
  • Provide support for HR programs (i.e., engagement survey, compensation planning, skip level meetings, orientations, exit interviews, stay interviews, action planning, roundtable sessions, and leader accountability).
  • Develop and maintain employee relationships at all levels of the organization, from frontline to senior management.
  • Meet with employees, supervisors, and business leaders to address concerns, and mediate differences between employees and managers.
