About The Position

The Human Resources Business Partner will collaborate with the business to develop and implement a robust human capital strategy with a strong focus on execution, growth and employee engagement that aligns to business priorities. This role will oversee HR initiatives across multiple business areas and programs within the sector to ensure we optimize talent to deliver on the critical missions of our customers. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence to shape and design HR initiatives that optimize talent strategies, develop our people and advance our culture Engage business leaders in talent and leadership development, talent assessments, succession planning, staffing critical technical talent, and organizational design Assist in the develop of workforce plans to optimize performance, engagement, retention, recognition, and talent development, leveraging GDIT's Total Rewards and Talent Development offerings Provide day-to-day guidance and support to leadership on performance, conduct, and ethics concerns (e.g., coaching and counseling), partnering with Employee Relations and Legal on investigations and timely resolution Support leaders in navigating, implementing, and communicating workforce changes and transitions Review personnel actions to ensure fair and equitable application of HR policies, as well as compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws Implement and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans, enterprise goals, and relevant legal requirements Provide HR data analysis, analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions, increase engagement, and improve retention Support execution and drive accountability for enterprise HR initiatives and goals Contribute to enterprise-wide talent initiatives and promote a culture of internal mobility and talent sharing Embrace HR technology solutions and AI to drive automation, efficiency, and transparency WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your HR Business Partner expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The HR Business Partner must have: Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of related human resources business partner experience; OR in lieu of degree, 9 yrs of related experience is required Recent experience in the government contracting industry highly preferred Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design and development, employee relations, performance management, and policies/compliance Ability to adapt skills and experience to suit various business needs Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity and escalate concerns as needed. Aptitude for understanding the business to prioritize critical activities supporting business initiatives Skilled in navigating situations with peers and business managers. The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $110,055. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Requirements
