We do the right thing—today and for generations to come.LocationThis role is based in Lititz, PA.Job Purpose and ImpactThe HR Business Partner supports two Cocoa & Chocolate manufacturing facilities, a retail store and corresponding Cocoa & Chocolate warehouse. Officially based at our Lititz, PA location, this role is expected to alternate presence with our nearby facility in Mount Joy, PA. A critical member of both plant leadership teams, this role is collectively accountable for the plant culture through delivery of moderately complex people processes focused on people and culture strategy, implementation of solutions to improve performance and engagement, workforce plans, learning programs and talent activities. The role leverages data and analyzes metrics to drive purposeful actions. This role serves a total employee population of 215 (Lititz-76, Mount Joy-98, Retail & Warehouse-41).

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel between Lititz and Mount Joy, PA (approximate 25 min drive time) on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably 3+ years
• Strong understanding of federal state and local employment laws.
• Experience collaborating in a matrix environment in partnership with HR COEs, HR Operations, HRBPs, Plant Operations teams and business teams.

Responsibilities

• SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION: Identifies and implements moderately complex solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting and retention to increase productivity and mitigate people risks for the plant while also building an inclusive culture.
• PROGRAM EXECUTION: Executes workforce plans, learning programs, talent acquisition activities and other talent programs and projects at the location.
• METRICS & ANALYSIS: Leverages moderately complex reports and dashboards to measure, manage and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at plant locations.
• DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION: Communicates and adopts diversity, equity and inclusion policies and practices in plant locations.
• HR SUPPORT: Provides human resources support to plant supervisors and employees, acts as the first point of contact for human resources related questions, onboards new employees, triages every day grievance matters, supports leave management, workforce investigations and manages on site audits.
• BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Partners with key leaders on the execution of moderately complex local people and culture plans.
• OPERATIONAL PROCESSES: Implements moderately complex plant HR operational processes including employee or labor relations, and the overall compliance and effectiveness of the HR operational processes of the plant.
