The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Intern is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position formulates partnerships across the People/HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit to best assist with Employee Relations, coaching and development, compliance with state labor law, staffing needs, recognition, and engagement efforts. This HRBP Intern will partner primarily with our Sr. HRBP to support the Field or Remote Branches across the Midwest and the East Coast. The ideal candidate will be able to facilitate employee investigations and develop recommendations for local leaders. They will advise local leadership on resolutions to complex issues and deliver HR solutions that drive increased employee engagement, performance, and results. Working directly with the HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, and People Dept team members, the HRBP Intern embeds HR strategy into day-to-day work and provides professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal business leaders with the objective of adding value to the business.
