About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services. The HR Assistant processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9/E-Verify. This role will process status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes, ensuring all appropriate approvals are obtained before processing in the HRIS. The HR Assistant is responsible for keeping personnel records up to date, assisting with hospital recognition programs, and providing support to employees with general Human Resources questions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Must have strong communication skills
General office and/or Personnel related experience is required.
Microsoft Office skills required
Ability to excel in a faced paced environment.

Nice To Haves

college degree desired
1-2 Years of Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities
