About The Position

SAPS LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide comprehensive support across our human resources functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad HR experience supporting recruiting initiatives and general HR operations. While this position is remote, we have a strong preference for candidates located in or near Mandeville, Louisiana.

Requirements

Administrative experience in a professional setting
Knowledge of HR or recruiting processes through work experience, internships, or academic coursework
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Comfortable making phone calls and building rapport with employees and candidates
Proficiency with standard office software and ability to quickly learn new systems
Self-motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Manage and maintain our applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate candidate records
Conduct outreach calls to applicants to screen interest and guide them through the hiring process
Review and vet resumes against job requirements, identifying qualified candidates
Assist with job postings and candidate correspondence
Assist with employee onboarding and new hire paperwork
Maintain employee files and HR databases with accurate, confidential information
Help coordinate training sessions and employee events
Prepare HR reports and correspondence as needed
Serve as a friendly point of contact for employee HR inquiries
