About The Position

The Employee Service Representative position is an administrative position that serves as the first point of contact for candidates, employees, and visitors. This role has a general knowledge of HR policies and procedures to direct all inquiries to the appropriate team member or provide all requested information. This person will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and supporting HR-related activities while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of Customer Service/Office experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with ADP
  • Prior knowledge of general HR policies and procedures, specifically I-9 management

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact for visitors.
  • Answer and direct calls to the appropriate HR staff members.
  • Educate and provide general HR information to employees and candidates, including, but not limited to company policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding, including but not limited to, preparing materials, data entry, and guiding new hires through HR processes.
  • Verifies, enters, and updates personnel records related to but not limited to name changes, direct deposits, parking decals, employment verifications, etc.
  • Schedules and verifies pre-employment and orientation appointments.
  • Manages the Human Resources training room and classroom schedule.
  • Maintains supply inventory for general office supplies.
  • Handle sensitive HR-related information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Distributes mail, deliveries, and organizes inter-departmental pick-ups.
  • Assist HR personnel with daily administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
