About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will provide a variety of administrative support to the Human Resources department and provide excellent customer service. The Administrative Assistant must be able to work with various software, assist with the advertising of jobs, applicant tracking, and overall recruiting process. Must become proficient using the designated HRIS system.

  • Knowledge and work experience in use of Microsoft Office 365 and similar software in an HR office environment.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and utilize software and technology to enhance talent acquisition.

  • Ability to minimize conflicts and build constructive team dynamics.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the HR function.

Responsibilities

  • Great and provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer and direct departmental phone calls.
  • Administer office mail daily to include retrieval and delivery.
  • May schedule and organize appointments.
  • Proofread and type documents and correspondence according to quality standards.
  • Organize and manage all incoming and outgoing business correspondence accurately and timely.
  • Organize and manage employee records.
  • Assist with processing required employment paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other employment related matters as assigned.
  • Prepare human resource reports, such as HRIS generated, employee statistics, new hire, turnover, general tribal preference, demographic reports and unemployment/employment verification as assigned.
  • Assist with record-keeping for all formal HR processes.
  • Prepare purchase orders for the human resource office.
  • Ordering and managing office supplies.
  • Assist with facilitating communication and tracking deadlines.
  • Assist with HRIS administration and designated workflows.
  • Assist with applicant tracking and recruitment.
  • Assist with employee orientation, as assigned.
  • Ensure HR procedural/compliance on related HR processes.
  • Process invoices for payment according to applicable policies.
  • Maintain a positive and professional response toward duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform all other HR related duties as assigned.
