Requirements

  • Requires BS/BA in Chemistry or related sciences or equivalent along with relative experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries). Will substitute relevant work experience in lieu of degree requirement
  • Three years of HPLC experience
  • HPLC and UPLC method development experience
  • Experience running routine assays and developing novel separation and identification assays
  • Experience and thorough understanding of HPLC and UPLC based chromatography (including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse phase, ion exchange, and hydrophobic interaction utilizing DAD, FLD detectors)
  • Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, comprehension and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Running routine assays
  • Develop novel separation and identification of assays
  • Separation, characterization, identification of proteins and antibodies utilizing HPLC, cIEF, BioA/GX, as well as other analytical techniques.
  • Developing HPLC & UPLC based chromatography methods including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse phase, ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction utilizing DAD, FLD detectors.
