This role involves operating and maintaining HP Indigo digital presses, ensuring consistent print quality, efficiency, and adherence to production standards.

Requirements

• Background in digital print production or conventional press operations
• Understanding of prepress fundamentals
• Basic computer skills and aptitude
• Knowledge of color theory and color matching
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to visually distinguish color variations, shades, and brightness
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment
• Procedure-oriented and methodical work style
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Analytical problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating HP Indigo or similar digital press equipment preferred
• HP Indigo certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate HP Indigo digital press equipment (WS 6900 platform)
• Set up jobs and ensure proper color matching and print quality
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to maintain press performance
• Monitor production output and identify quality issues early
• Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules
• Conduct quality inspections throughout production runs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
