At JTS Direct, we’re looking for a skilled Inkjet/Digital Press Operator who ideally brings knowledge of mailing processes. In this role, you’ll operate high-quality inkjet and digital presses, ensuring our print materials are optimized for seamless mailing and distribution. Your mission? To produce flawless print products with efficiency and accuracy, contributing to our commitment to exceptional client service. There are two openings: One (1) on 1st Shift One (1) on 2nd Shift

Requirements

• Experience in operating inkjet and/or digital presses in a print production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to troubleshoot print/mailing equipment.
• Organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple production orders.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach to collaboration.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of mailing processes and USPS regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Press Operation: Operate inkjet and digital presses to create high-quality printed materials with precision.
• Material Preparation: Prepare printed materials for mailing, ensuring correct addressing and postage markings.
• Equipment Adjustments: Set up guides, rollers, inserters, and weighing machines, making adjustments to ensure top performance.
• Quality Control: Inspect output for defects, troubleshoot, and adjust as needed to eliminate issues.
• Order Fulfillment: Read production orders to verify print specifications, sizes, and mailing details.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams to align print products with mailing requirements and project goals.
