White Elephant Resorts is hiring a reliable, hands-on Housing Assistant to support our employee housing and laundry operations year-round on Nantucket. This role is key to maintaining safe, clean, and well-maintained housing for our team. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Basic building maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and work indoors/outdoors
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Applicants should also work well under pressure

Responsibilities
- Maintain housing facilities and respond to work orders and emergencies
- Perform basic maintenance (lighting, plumbing fixes, locks, furniture moves)
- Assist with room moves and employee arrivals
- Support laundry operations, including driving the laundry truck
- Conduct housing inspections and uphold standards
