Anthos HomeNew York, NY
$65,000 - $70,000Hybrid

About The Position

Anthos|Home is an innovative nonprofit transforming the way New Yorkers with housing subsidies locate and secure stable housing. Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, we streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in process while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher system. Our mission is to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness. The Role The Housing Acquisition Specialist will work as part of the Housing Acquisition team and report to the Housing Acquisition Supervisor. This role focuses on identifying and securing apartments across New York City while building strong relationships with property owners, managers, brokers, and building staff. The Specialist plays an important role in expanding access to housing for New Yorkers using rental assistance vouchers by increasing the number of landlords and units participating in the program. The Housing Acquisition Specialist will cultivate landlord partnerships, identify barriers in the leasing process, and work collaboratively with internal teams to support successful tenant placements. The team uses internal systems to track housing leads, manage landlord relationships, and monitor the housing pipeline, and the Specialist will maintain accurate data while supporting strategic outreach and acquisition efforts. The team also utilizes Flex Pool funding to help secure apartments and may “bank” units that meet voucher standards while tenants are being matched.
