The Houseperson at Downstream Casino Resort is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and supply levels throughout the hotel's common areas, guest rooms, and storage facilities. This includes stocking guest room attendant carts, central storage, and work centers with supplies, as well as managing the inventory and transportation of both dirty and clean linens. The role involves operating and performing routine maintenance on various cleaning equipment, such as carpet scrubbers and vacuums. Additionally, the Houseperson delivers special request items to guest rooms and assists other departmental personnel as needed. A key aspect of the position is promoting positive public and employee relations, maintaining a safe work environment, and consistently providing exceptional customer service to all patrons in a friendly and professional manner. The role requires adherence to attendance guidelines and company policies, and involves informing supervisors and attending necessary meetings. The duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on operational needs, with hours determined by a 24-hour schedule. The individual is expected to act as a role model and represent the resort professionally at all times. The Downstream Casino Resort adheres to all applicable Resolutions of the Quapaw Nation, and a Native American Preference policy applies.
