About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Houseperson. The ideal candidate helps maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel, supports room attendants, and contributes to a positive guest experience through attentiveness and care.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 - 100 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the shift worked.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including guest room corridors, offices, elevators, stairwells, and other areas as needed.
• Assist room attendants with guest room tasks, including stripping and replacing linen, replenishing amenities, glassware, towels, and other requested items.
• Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect trash, soiled linen, and other items.
• Dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Receive, store, and organize housekeeping supplies and department shipments; maintain clean and orderly storerooms.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and helpful manner to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow department standard operating procedures for all cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
