About The Position

This role is crucial for setting the stage for comfort by delivering supplies, taking out trash, stocking items, preparing carts, and refreshing spaces behind the scenes, which enables Room Attendants and public area teams to perform effectively. Requirements

  • Someone who thrives behind the scenes and takes pride in being a reliable team player.
  • Attentive to detail and focused on supporting others so they can succeed.
  • Physically able to meet the demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing carts, and being on your feet throughout your shift.
  • Comfortable working independently and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Friendly, approachable, and motivated to create a positive atmosphere for guests and coworkers.
  • Open to flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic English communication skills required

Nice To Haves

  • bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Prior hotel or custodial experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support Room Attendants by stocking carts with linens, amenities, and supplies at the start of and throughout each shift.
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest requests for items such as towels, toiletries, cribs, and rollaways.
  • Maintain cleanliness in hallways, service closets, stairwells, and back-of-house areas.
  • Remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors and deliver to proper disposal or laundry areas.
  • Assist in public area cleaning as needed, ensuring lobbies, elevators, and restrooms are tidy and inviting.
  • Handle guest requests with courtesy and efficiency, treating every interaction as an opportunity to make a positive impression.
  • Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure housekeeping closets and storage areas are clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Uphold guest privacy and safety by following all hotel policies and security procedures.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering teams to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
