As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by providing assistance with a variety of tasks, such as cleaning guest rooms, stocking storage closets, and responding to guest requests. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the hotel premises are clean and well-maintained. As a Houseperson, you will: Picks up dirty linen around the property Assist housekeeper in removal of garbage Keep housekeeping storage closets stocked with supplies and clea Deliver linen to closets, and pool towers to pool Clean floors, including tiles, carpet, etc Clean walkways, stairways, elevators, corridors and public areas Picks up trash from building corridor Assists in the training of fellow team members as it pertains to their area Cleans front entrances to the units (doors, light fixtures) Ensure proper use of all equipment and supplies issued Immediately report all lost and found items Properly use, secure and return keys to all units Take trash and linen to the proper places so that it is not in the owner or guests view Respond to any owner or guest requests or complaints in a professional and timely manner Assist other departments or areas when and where needed Other duties may be assigned To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
