About The Position
Join our team at Midland Care's Hospice House, where we offer dignified, loving care to individuals and families in the final chapter of life. We are currently seeking a compassionate and hospitable Houseparent to join our team at the Midland Care Hospice House. As a Houseparent, you will play a crucial role in providing hospitality and meal service to our clients and their families, creating a warm and welcoming environment during their stay. This position offers you a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while also earning extra income.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Proficient computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide a calm, nurturing presence and assist with non-clinical support to residents
- Maintain the home-like atmosphere by preparing baked goods, tidying shared spaces and overall support to all that enter
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure the environment reflects dignity, safety, and compassion
