About The Position

At Children's Happy Teeth & Happy Braces, the company aims to make dental visits fun, comfortable, and stress-free for children and their families, providing top-notch dental and orthodontic care. The team is looking for a friendly, responsible, and detail-oriented Day Porter to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for patients, their families, and staff. As a Housekeeper, this role is key in shaping the patient's experience by maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and patients. A clean and well-maintained space directly contributes to the comfort and satisfaction of every patient, positively impacting their overall experience at the practice.

Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in maintaining cleanliness.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail are key.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and contribute positively to a team-based environment.
• A friendly, professional demeanor, especially when interacting with children and families.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the office and patient waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
• Ensure bathrooms are consistently sanitized, stocked with necessary supplies, and maintained in excellent condition.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap, etc.), and restock as needed. Daily assisting for Laundry needs, including washing, drying, hanging lab coats
• Properly dispose of trash and recycling, ensuring all areas remain clutter-free and hygienic
• Help with minor repairs, notify supervisors about any maintenance or equipment needs, and assist with the upkeep of office aesthetics.
• Properly clean, sterilize, and organize dental tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
