About The Position

Housekeeping performs custodial maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, finishing, and buffing floors, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets, cleaning, and restocking restrooms. The housekeeper reports to and works closely with the Facilities & Ground Manager and the Event Coordinator. The housekeeper performs some or all of the following duties: Performs general, routine custodial duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal. Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas. Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels.

Requirements

• Ability to manage time efficiently, while prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Work well unsupervised
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs, bend, reach, and stretch as required to perform duties
• Ability to stand and walk around for 8-hour shifts
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
