Requirements

  • Ability to read and write.
  • Physical ability to perform duties requiring standing, bending, stretching, and lifting moderate loads.
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and kitchen spaces using approved cleaning products.
  • Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas according to an established schedule.
  • Change bed linens as needed, with or without patient assistance, based on patient mobility.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles daily and maintain trash-free environments throughout the shift.
  • Stock supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas.
  • Clean front doors, windows, and entrance areas.
  • Pick up litter, sweep entrances, and maintain exterior areas as assigned (including light yard work such as raking leaves when needed).
  • Use proper body mechanics and follow safety guidelines at all times.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Support and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Beacon Behavioral Health.
  • Demonstrate Beacon Behavioral Health’s 5 Commandments for Exceptional Customer Service in all interactions.
