About The Position

NVMHI has an exciting new opportunity for a team member to work Day Shift in our
Housekeeping Department to maintain cleanliness of the hospital, exchange
linens, gather and dispose of refuse, move furniture and equipment around, and
identify and report items for repair. The successful candidate must have the
ability to lift, stoop, bend, pull, push, reach, and stand for an extended
period of time, have knowledge of cleaning methods and tools, capable of
following oral and written instructions, and have the ability to communicate
effectively with all levels of NVMHI staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Day Shift Hours:- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F with alternating weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, stoop, bend, pull, push, reach and stand for extended period of time.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
