We also offer LOW staff to patient ratios in a place where you are valued and celebrated! SCHEDULE: 5AM-1:30PM SUNDAY - WEDNESDAY - FULL TIME Payrate : Starting at $17.00 per hour. The actual pay offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors. Role Summary: Responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions in order to maintain an attractive, clean and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents and community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position required
  • Proficiency in English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Responsibilities

  • Clean offices and common areas, including meeting rooms, hallways, reception area, dining rooms and laundry rooms including, but not limited to: Vacuum carpet Mop/sweep tile and other hard surface flooring Dust furniture and lamps Clean mirrors and interior glass surfaces Wipe window blinds Remove cobwebs from light fixtures and wherever else present Clean laundry room
  • Clean common-area bathrooms including, but not limited to: Mopping floor Sanitize/clean toilet and sink Restocking bathroom items (toilet tissues, paper towels, and hand soap) Refill soap dispensers Wipe mirror
  • Clean Employee Break Room including, but not limited to: Defrost refrigerator as scheduled Wipe inside/outside refrigerator Disposal of expired items
  • Trash rooms/areas including, but not limited to: Empty trash gondolas into outdoor dumpster Mop/sweep trash room floor In winter, clear snow around the dumpster for easy trash disposal
  • Clean resident apartments when turnovers occur (where applicable).
  • Wash 1st-floor community common windows inside and out as scheduled, at least quarterly.
  • Complete and submit maintenance slips as required to address maintenance issues.
  • Maintain all housekeeping equipment and supplies in proper order.
  • Perform annual deep cleaning (where applicable).
  • Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position and individual employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
  • Responsible for floor maintenance of apartment buildings, clubhouse, and all other community common areas.
  • Assist with emergency housekeeping issues as needed.
