Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting Part-time Turndown Attendants to join our team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Position Summary The Turndown Attendant is responsible for turn-down service, stocking of supplies and follow up on any late departure room. Assist lobby attendant on guest request and laundry department. To provide and maintain the highest possible service standards to our clientele at all times. The employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills
Able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and 10 lbs. of force frequently
Able to work nights, weekends and holidays when business needs dictates.
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Able to work in fast paced, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

Provide turndown service to required guest rooms in accordance with established standards
Provide turn-down service by turning down the bed, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies.
Assist Public Area Attendant in delivering guest requests
Required to refresh others and/or replenish supplies.
Serve as runner to guest rooms to deliver items as requested by the guests.
Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed.
Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe condition.
Report any service discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor and resolve where possible.
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion
Report any safety or security discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
Assist AM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart.
Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
Perform any other related duty as required/
