About The Position

· Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest Integrity of the Environmental Services Department. · Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner. Includes buffing floors as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write.
• Job requires previous supervisor experience and current hospital experience is desired.
• The employee will complete an orientation program of sufficient duration and content to prepare them for specific duties
• One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Job requires employee to perform tasks and assignments under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and/or Department Director.
• Is expected to analyze situations and act within the scope of standard procedures.
