Position Overview SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job) Ensures safety functions are in compliance with department, facility, and regulatory agency safety policies and procedures. Demonstrates efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and ensures smooth operations. Recognizes and appropriately responds to situations or issues that require communication or interaction with other departments or patients. Manages the Environmental Services Program within the facility to maintain the highest quality possible and ensures good public relations with all people involved with a focus on the facility's patients. Attains a high level of technical knowledge for the equipment, chemicals and programs utilized.
