Requirements

  • 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience is required
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule from 7am-12:45am, OT available, 8-10hr shifts/40hours per week/no overnights

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Housekeeping and/or Administrative Experience is preferred
  • Previous experience managing employees using a Culinary Bargaining Agreement is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works effectively in a fast‑paced environment with strong multitasking and decision‑making skills.
  • Ensures all duties are completed in compliance with property standards, company policies, and legal requirements related to safety, health, and guest welfare.
  • Thoroughly inspects guest rooms for cleanliness and overall condition, and reports room status, work orders, damages, and carpet needs.
  • Maintains accurate records including repairs, lost and found items, and quality of work.
  • Completes daily worksheets and submits all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintains departmental assets, ensuring equipment is properly repaired and all FOH/BOH areas are clean, organized, and well maintained.
  • Supervises assigned floors, ensuring all rooms, hallways, and public areas meet property cleanliness standards.
  • Leads Housekeeping employees by providing training, performance feedback, and recognition, ensuring adherence to company and departmental policies.
  • Trains employees and new hires on cleaning products in compliance with OSHA chemical safety standards.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of hotel information to accurately answer guest inquiries.
  • Responds promptly to guest complaints, using sound judgment and creative problem‑solving to anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Maintains exceptional guest service standards and remains attentive to guest needs while protecting their privacy and confidentiality in accordance with hotel policies.
