About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role within the Housekeeping Department, overseeing Room Attendants and House Attendants to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness. This position is responsible for monitoring team performance and tracking daily progress to ensure efficiency and quality. The department will anticipate and customize services based on guest needs. In the absence of staff or during high-volume periods, this position will assist with frontline responsibilities as needed. This role should have strong knowledge of the hotel’s services and amenities to support both staff and guests. This position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Opera, HotSOS, and REX preferred
  • Good written and spoken English, spoken Spanish is a plus
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Room/Public Area Review: Uphold our standards by conducting thorough inspections of employee work
  • Staff Management: Ensure all housekeeping staff receive proper training and provide ongoing support as needed
  • Schedule: Develop daily work assignments and closely monitor the progress of each Room Attendant and House Attendant
  • Training: Coach and train staff to consistently achieve high performance and quality standards
  • Communication/Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure exceptional guest care
