About The Position

ESFM is the corporate Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division of Compass Group USA and a proud Keystone member of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). The Housekeeping Service Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations and customer service excellence of the Environmental Services (EVS)/Housekeeping department. This position ensures high standards of cleanliness, team performance, safety, and operational efficiency while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in both individual and group settings
  • Ability to lead using a collaborative, participative management style
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • CRCST or other applicable sterile processing certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards in assigned areas
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding housekeeping staff
  • Support staff scheduling and daily work assignments
  • Assign work areas and special project duties
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project-based cleaning initiatives
  • Lead and participate in departmental meetings, training, and development programs
  • Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to team members
  • Participate in facility Quality Assurance programs as required
  • Safely handle and oversee the use of cleaning chemicals, including the use of required PPE
  • Assign equipment to staff and monitor proper use, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and professional in appearance
  • Assist housekeeping staff as needed to support operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
