Overview: The PM Housekeeping Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing all Housekeeping operations during the evening shift. This position supports the Director and Assistant Director of Housekeeping by managing daily PM‑shift functions, driving quality assurance, and maintaining departmental cost controls. The manager is expected to be highly visible on the guest floors, actively engaging with associates and guests while ensuring Omni cleanliness and service standards are consistently upheld. This role requires strong operational leadership, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to support AM operations when business needs arise. The PM Housekeeping Manager sets the tone for excellence, fosters a positive team environment, and ensures a seamless guest experience throughout evening operations.

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in a full‑service hotel (400+ rooms required).
  • Availability to work PM shifts consistently, with flexibility to support AM operations when business needs require.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Highly motivated, able to multitask, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support team members.
  • Must be actively present on the floors while also managing administrative responsibilities such as ordering, inventory, payroll, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Provides courteous, personalized, attentive, and consistent guest service by responding promptly to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Resolves difficult or unusual guest issues while maintaining strong guest relationships and demonstrating outstanding hospitality.
  • Maintains open and clear communication with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve service efficiency and effectiveness through active participation in the Omni Service Tradition program.
  • Leads PM shift operations, ensuring all evening tasks, room inspections, and service standards are met.
  • Supports AM operations as needed, including coverage during peak business periods or staffing shortages.
  • Maintains close communication with Front Desk and Engineering, reporting and following up on all maintenance issues.
  • Actively present on guest floors, engaging with associates and guests to ensure a consistent and positive experience.
  • Oversees Housemen during PM shift, ensuring proper support to GRAs and completion of daily duties and special projects.
  • Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, including all vacant rooms, daily.
  • Identifies cleaning defects and reassigns corrections to the responsible GRA.
  • Completes full inspection forms for each GRA and submits them to the Director of Housekeeping daily.
  • Assists in maintaining Omni standards of cleanliness and a consistent guestroom experience.
  • Assists with departmental functions including scheduling, Dayforce, payroll cost controls, and staffing needs.
  • Maintains uniform control, purchasing, and issuance.
  • Oversees guest requests, monthly meetings, and quality assurance in public spaces and guestrooms.
  • Monitors and maintains adequate inventory levels for linen and supplies.
  • Supports ordering, inventory management, and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Participates in energy conservation efforts and ensures proper care of hotel property and work areas.
  • Helps maintain a highly motivated and well‑trained team that consistently strives for excellence in service and cleanliness.
  • Provides coaching, feedback, and support to associates during PM operations.
  • Assists in maintaining acceptable turnover levels through engagement and leadership.
