About The Position

The Housekeeping Runner is responsible for fulfilling and delivering all guest's requests with proper presentation and assisting Housekeeping by removing trash and soiled linen from the floors. This role has a potential career path to Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper. The position is at the All-Suite Holiday Inn Resort in Orlando, Florida, located at the entrance to the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort. The resort offers 777 spacious suites, free high-speed Internet access, microwave, mini-fridge, and 42" HDTVs. Guests can enjoy two pools, a 4-D Experience, Bank Heist Laser Challenge, resort entertainment, and an Arcade. The resort's Marketplace includes a gift shop, food court, full-service restaurant, and bar. Complimentary, scheduled shuttle service to Walt Disney World Resort theme parks is available. The resort is also close to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, The Orange County Convention Center, I-Drive entertainment district, Orlando Premium Outlets, and Disney Springs.

Responsibilities

• Report Housekeeping Office and PBX team at start of shift.
• Fulfill and deliver guest requests with the proper presentation.
• Inventory and maintain cleanliness of all linen closets and empty trash.
• Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet daily.
• Offer assistance to guest when requested or needed.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping.
• Employ proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Make sure all storage closets are clean and neat daily
• Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Pick up and deliver guest request items in a timely manner and calling them in as complete once they have been delivered.
• Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and following company appearance standards.
• Collect trash from various areas throughout the property and take it to the designated area.
• Consistently maintain a positive, friendly, helpful attitude that ensures a positive guest experience.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
