About The Position

Overview Opportunity: Housekeeping Runner Fulfill and deliver all guest’s requests with the proper presentation. Assists Housekeeping by removing the trash and soiled linen from the floors. Potential Career Path Housekeeping Supervisor – Assistant Executive Housekeeper – Executive Housekeeper Essential Job Functions Report Housekeeping Office and PBX team at start of shift. Fulfill and deliver guest requests with the proper presentation. Inventory and maintain cleanliness of all linen closets and empty trash. Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet daily. Offer assistance to guest when requested or needed. Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping. Employ proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Make sure all storage closets are clean and neat daily Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situation. Pick up and deliver guest request items in a timely manner and calling them in as complete once they have been delivered. Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and following company appearance standards. Collect trash from various areas throughout the property and take it to the designated area. Consistently maintain a positive, friendly, helpful attitude that ensures a positive guest experience. Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate in written and verbal form in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Carrying or lifting 50lbs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
