About The Position

We are looking for and experienced Room attendant II or III to join our Housekeeping team to clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning windows and balconies, and replacing amenities. Assist with deep cleaning projects as business needs. Report all guest items left in room; report damage in rooms, hallways, or common areas; restock cart prior to end of shift.  The Westgate Hotel is a luxury hotel providing world-class elegance inhospitality. Room Attendant would be responsible for performing the following tasks: Ensure standards of excellence for guestrooms cleanliness are followed.  Attend daily  line-up meetings in the housekeeping office. Report anomalies in the guestrooms to supervisor or dispatcher.  Keep the service areas and closets clean at all times.  Maintain carts organized at all times. Guest Room Cleaning Responsibilities:  Make the bed specific to training and standards.  Clean the bathroom following the steps specified in the training manual.  Dust room and replace all amenities throughout the room.  Vacuum room thoroughly.  follow all service standards specified to our Housekeeping Standards.  Report and turn in any Lost and Found items from guestrooms or hallways.  Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to any requests and acknowledge all guests all the time.

Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends and may be asked to work both AM and PM shifts.
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to clean a minimum of 14 rooms in 8 hour shift.
