About The Position

Responsible for the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department to a high standard of cleanliness, observing all guidelines regarding infection control and local standards while assuring the highest degree of quality patient and visitor care is maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing all staff.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior housekeeping and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Must have a Valid driver’s license.

  • Directly supervises employees within the Environmental Services Department, including housekeeping, laundry, and floor maintenance staff.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs daily work activities.
  • Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback.
  • Administers rewards and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Addresses employee concerns, resolves complaints, and assists with problem resolution.
