Housekeeping manager is responsible for deliver impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. Leading the housekeeping team, ensuring team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Maintain high guest satisfaction scores.

Requirements

  • A High school diploma or GED is required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position
  • At least 2+ years' experience in hospitality or guest services
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience in recruiting and hiring
  • Experience in evaluating staff
  • Experience in leadership roles
  • Ability to plan and organize
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Understanding of guest service principles and practices
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all cottages and public areas daily
  • Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
  • Inspect VIP and owner's arrivals
  • Devising and setting up objectives to boost company productivity
  • Monitoring and tracking operating costs, budgets and resources
  • Creating reports, analyzing, interpreting and presenting
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction
  • Managing guest complaints and resolving their issues
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and decide for repairs as needed.
